I'm appreciating so much that I'm heading to the P I'm appreciating so much that I'm heading to the Philippines to dive (most epic) with some of my favorite people (good company). The laughter has already begun. The amount of JOY I experience in my life has grown exponentially since making that my laser focus. And when I come back, I get to come home to Maui. Where I've practiced living in my mind for years and now I've manifested it. Maui wasn't what made my life more joyful. Traveling isn't what necessarily makes my life fun. And friends that I can connect with aren't what allows me to feel good and laugh. These are all elements in which to experience this but they are simply conditions. I bring me, who I am today, everywhere I go. I had to get crystal clear about who I'm not and stop listening to others, including past voices, that tell me who they think I am. My continued focus forward and intention of who I intend to be is what changed everything! Always recalculating my GPS to my next destination, no matter where the detour takes me. Let's celebrate the detours in life. Some of my best creations have started thinking I was going one way and discovering another way that I didn't see when I originally planned my route. To say that we co-create our reality is becoming b To say that we co-create our reality is becoming backed up by science. I've known for a very long time that we are the creators of our experience and yet, I couldn't prove my knowing. I want to acknowledge my appreciation for Nassim Haramein, more than mere words can express. I just finished watching him explain in scientific terms a theory I've played with and held in my heart and soul. He has shown that our light emerges from our darkness. Black holes are the center of everything and light emerges from within them, in a movie called- Black Whole. I've studied love, vitality, and joy all my life. First I had to be in the darkness. It took me 54 years to master how this works and I was delighted to watch a movie that supported what I've known in this human experience. Fear comes before fearlessness. Darkness precedes light. Death gives way to birth and back to death again. Resistance is futile. 💗🤣😂🤣😂💗
I've experienced both family & friends I love deep I've experienced both family & friends I love deeply, say some really ugly things about me, pointing their finger and saying "because of you..." Since I was a small child. Just as we learn to walk and that memory is stored in the body, so is our self-image. These early experiences created a loop within of victim and the abuser. It was a loop worse than the actual physical, emotional, and spiritual abuse I've suffered at the hands, words, or unstated expectations of my family & friends. Because it was happening inside me like a nightmare and bloody massacre, on repeat. When we're in survivor mode, we don't have the capacity to let anything in other than the worst-case scenario. My vulnerable heart knew it wasn't true, yet my mind believed them, it had to in order to survive. So even with experiences where I've had people I love, family, friends, and clients I work with say "because of you..." I have my life back I'm less anxious or depressed I'm compassionate with myself I feel empowered You've helped me more than years of therapy... I couldn't allow those voices to be louder than the one saying I was garbage, worthless. To break the cycle of abuse, I had to go first. I had to save myself. You cannot hold a self-image of grace, kindness, love, or compassion if you are holding on to being loser or monster. It's so sneaky too because it oftentimes hides itself as people-pleasing. Playing ball in the pool was a surprising nervous Playing ball in the pool was a surprising nervous system healing activity a couple of weeks ago. Having something thrown at me and "getting behind it" brought back memories of being hurt when something was literally and figuratively thrown at my body. Today, rollerskating in the house was also an unexpected call to awareness and nervous system self-regulation practice. #healthepartstomakewhole

What if you have to see it inside yourself before you can see it in someone or something else? What if you have to become the health, money, lover first? Who would you be as that? Our greatest challenge is receiving. Read that a Our greatest challenge is receiving. Read that again. The greatest obstacle in our way of having everything we want, is allowing ourselves to have it. We want relationships, security, recognition, love, money, health, appreciation, adventure, new experiences, to be cared for, fun, connection, freedom, ease, safety, and so much more. Then we give our precious energy and attention to where someone else isn't meeting our needs, where we don't feel secure, where we don't feel seen heard or loved, where we don't feel like we have enough money, we don't have time for fun, or we're looking at a body that we think has no hope. We are so focused on what is, what seems real, that we don't give ourselves any room to allow for what's possible. And then sometimes what's possible sits and stares us right in the face and we cannot allow it because we cannot identify with it. I almost didn't allow myself to receive David's or Erin's love and support, the intimacy and connections of close friendships, living in Maui, and most importantly my health. I had a story at one time, that I was undeserving, damaged, unloveable, and my family health history was just shit. What really sucked was I wasn't aware of that story for quite a while, until I was. What are you willing to receive? What are you willing to feel to have that? Everything you want is available to you. It sits just outside your comfort zone and the level of awareness you have right now. Who is the person that has/is what you want? This is the question to ponder.
What happens when your friend invites you to go di What happens when your friend invites you to go diving, then accidentally picks up your wetsuit at the end of the day? Shenanigans, that’s what! Today, at the Hale of Who University, we had the pleasure of spending the day with Christine’s wetsuit, which is now dry…but it’s not a dry suit! Henderson got to explore and enjoy many of the modalities, experiences, and practices we love to play with within Who U. Henderson was feeling a little vulnerable realizing it wasn’t with her right body. After the separation anxiety calmed a bit, we took a dip in the pool. This was followed by a shower (not depicted for privacy’s sake), then it got to dry off while relaxing in the sunshine. We fed Henderson a snack and made sure it was adequately hydrated. Once the nourishment settled to the bottom of the zipper, it got a nice stretch and practiced some yoga moves while tuning into its autonomy and awareness. The day’s sun got a bit toasty, so we retreated indoors to read and contemplate. We read about Human Design and Quantum Physics. That was followed by a philosophical discussion about how we create our own reality, including our health, wealth, and relationships. Henderson is an amazing listener! As the day progressed, a nap was in order so it rested on the lounge, being very mindful and present. Feeling refreshed from the nap, we were ready to dive into epigenetics. Fascinated by the concept of how our environment sets the tone for the way in which our cells behave, it was hard to pull Henderson away from my desk. The idea that what we think and how we feel governs how all our atoms behave within us, literally left it speechless. Our next practice was to get in some movement and play! Movement is empowerment, it helps bring new knowledge and wisdom into our bodies, it is one of the great change agents! We had so much fun today with Henderson! It was truly a delight. How often do we get to find joy in our everyday lives? Tomorrow, Henderson will head back to Christine. Tanya will be reunited with Aqua Lung, and we will be grateful for another day together. At Who University we are always a work in progress. We change on the daily as we explore Who we truly are.

We discuss why we think something is justified or not when exploring anger and elaborate the ways to practice feeling anger. Becoming aware of how anger shows up, even if it’s after the fact, is empowering because once you know, then you can change it if you want to.
